I realize today I always plan for rain
To be pleasantly surprised by sunshine
I’ve spent days outside in the torrents and the glare,
The hurt and the healing both in downpour and sunburn,
And I know,
A little April water won’t hurt me – What doesn’t kill me I can choose to make a me stronger.
