Day 15 – Passover
Tonight,
Is the first night.
Tonight,
We are chosen,
And promised salvation,
Deliverance.
Tonight,
We focus on faith.
Tonight,
I drink the wine and feel blessed to hold my family around me.
Tonight,
I know in my heart,
I am here for a reason.
But I also know,
I am meant to make my own destiny.
Tonight,
Steeped in memory,
We remember our past.
The first night,
We pray that for the next first night,
We may make for ourselves,
A better future.
