September Starts Again
Rain,
Like sunshine,
Meets the dawn tonight.
Streams of fire,
Bright blues and orange rivers,
Coursing down to meet me.
Rain, midnight rain,
Renew my soul,
Thunder,
Lightning that splits the sky,
Awaken it.
Shower me with grace,
With wisdom, and with kindness.
September begins in thunderstorms,
Renting apart the air,
Charging it with electricity,
Hoping, and changing,
And finding,
Peace.
